Alberta Wells & Pipelines: How will wellsite land assessments change in 2019?

A webinar to discuss the impacts of the assessment year modifiers to linear property: wells & pipelines in the 2019 tax year, the impact of the change to wellsite land assessments throughout Alberta.

Wednesday, April 17, 2019 | 9:00 - 10:00am MT

Since our January 22 Power Breakfast, the assessments have been issued and we are able to confirm our estimates and quantify the impact of the regulated assessment changes. Oil and gas producers should consider the values as they impact budget accruals for 2019 taxes.

Discussion will include:

- Increased assessment values applied at shut-in wellsites

- The impact of wellsite zone classification to the assessed value of the leased land

- Whether budget adjustments will be required for 2019 well and pipeline taxes in your asset portfolio
